Welcome to Mick Shore’s Academy of Martial Arts. We are the only JKD, Sayoc and Shoot Wrestling school in Doncaster.

What we are about :-

• Produce students who can handle themselves more confidently if a situation arises where they need to defend themselves.
• Confidence in the student will reflect in their daily lives as well as helping make them better in work and family situations.

What we are not :-

• We are not a high street Mcdojo producing 1 year black belts.  You will earn your belt and feel better and more confident for doing so.
• Sifu Mick Shore is the only person, in Yorkshire, professionally qualified in the amount of arts he teaches.  He as been training for 33 years and still hasn’t finished learning.

A lot of other schools are trying to jump on the bandwagon and teach similar arts.  Do not be mislead, look at the instructor, does he look like he trains regular? – he should be lean and fit.  Is he old enough to have the knowledge he claims to teach? No matter how many belts-dans or master certificates he has – you wouldn’t go to a driving instructor who couldn’t drive.

What matters is the knowledge and quality of instruction you are getting Mick Shore was one the first school teaching early MMA over ten years ago.
